Bantam Age
Eligible players must be 13 to 15 years of age (not turning 16 prior to December 31 and not going into grade 10).
Equipment
All football equipment is provided, with the exception of cleats, gloves and mouth guards which is the responsibility of the player.
Practices
Monday-Thursday 6:15 - 8:15 pm
(4 practices per week)
All Practices are in Airdrie, Alberta

Season
The U16-Bantam football season starts the first weekend of June, with our Combine & Skills Camp. We will than run Non Equipment Practices for 2 weeks in June. We do not Practice or run any programs during the month of July. Fall Practices will begin Tuesday August 5th right after the Long Weekend and the season can run until Saturday November 15th

U16-Bantam Tackle Football
​
The Airdrie Raiders Bantam Football Team plays in the Calgary Bantam Football Association (CBFA) Players compete in 12 man football using Canadian Football League rules. This is a competitive team that develops players and gets them ready for their High School football programs.

This is a Competitive team that carries a maximum of 36 roster players. Full Equipment Tryouts are held in August each year for this team. Players who do not make this team are moved to our 9 man Tackle Football team that plays in the City of Calgary.

Players must attend a minimum of 3 practices per week to be eligible to play in games.
